Motion Media Communications is owned and operated by Mark C. Johnson. The company has been in business since July of 1995. Before opening Motion Media Communications, Mark held the position of producer/director at KERO-TV, Channel 23 where he worked on many accounts including Haddad Jeep, Barber Honda and Volvo, Motor City GMC, Family Motors, Stiers RV, Abbey Carpet, Weatherby’s Furniture, and San Joaquin Hospital (Children’s Miracle Network). Mark is a talented director, editor, and photographer as noted by the 18^th Annual Bakersfield Advertising Club’s Pizzaz Award for "Television Spot: Image under $500." Recently, Motion Media Communications garnered a 1998 Kern Press Club Award for "Public Service Announcement: Open University at California State University, Bakersfield." Mark holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Visual Arts from the University of California at San Diego.

Motion Media Communications has been recognized for their contributions to the community by the Junior League of Bakersfield, the National Exchange Club, Bakersfield Adult School, the American Society of Safety Engineers, the Lamont/Weedpatch Neighborhood Partnership, and the South Valley Economic Partners.
